Problem to Solve

Filling skill gap and technical expertise in Bluetooth firmware development, which is mission-critical to the medical device suite. The client needs external support to architect and implement firmware solutions for their wearable technology and peripheral devices. 

Solutions Provided So Far

  • Bluetooth BLE Expertise: Architecting the firmware for the wearable device, which interfaces with an implant providing critical pressure regulation and data monitoring.
  • Medical Devise Compliance: Responsible for writing the wearable's Bluetooth driver, enabling it to communicate with the implant and transmit data to the dock. Given the complexity of medical devices, I also ensure that the firmware adheres to stringent documentation and compliance standards.
  • Time-sensitive Tangential Project: In addition to the wearable development, I stepped in to lead a rapid development project for Raspberry Pi firmware. This was a high-pressure, time-sensitive task to prepare for a demo for investors, to showcase the versatility of the firmware solutions I’m designing.
